10. Spaceman

In my opinion, the best track on ‘Day and Age’. Many would argue ‘Human’ is better, but it just doesn't do it for me. The video clip for ‘Spaceman’ is unlike any other, with memorable dance moves and a very catchy chorus.

9. Glamorous Indie Rock and Roll

Due to the quality of ‘Hot Fuss’, ‘Glamorous Indie Rock and Roll’ didn't make it onto the album, but was later released on Sawdust. Great song.

8. Sam’s Town

The opening track on The Killers’ second album of the same name, ‘Sam’s Town’ takes a bit of getting used to. With the anthem-like chorus at the end, and incredible lyrics, ‘Sam’s Town’ is unlucky to be at number eight on the list.

7. The Man

Taken off their most recent album, ‘Wonderful Wonderful’, ‘The Man’ is sung from the point of view of a much younger Brandon Flowers, reminiscing on how cocky he was as a younger man.

6. Read My Mind

An amazing song off of ‘Sam’s Town’, ‘Read My Mind’ combines the synthesizer, drums, and unmatched lyrics perfectly. Flowers regards it as the greatest Killers song of all time, and it’s not hard to see why.

5. Bones

What a funky song! The vocal range of Flowers is really shown here, and it works a treat. The trumpets, along with the video clip, make it extremely memorable. This is despite the fact that Flowers is talking about how he doesn’t like a girl, he just wants to sleep with her.

4. Somebody Told Me

Very catchy song. It's one of The Killers more light-hearted songs, but one of the more recognisable. Its popularity speaks for itself.

3. All These Things That I've Done

One of the three singles off their debut album, ‘All These Things I've Done’ is one of the more complete songs that I've heard. Introducing 'I’ve got soul but I'm not a soldier' to the world in a gospel like fashion, it was a massive hit.

2. When You Were Young

The Killers weren't sure if their second album would be a hit, until Flowers wrote the lyrics 'he doesn’t look a thing like Jesus'. The songs guitar riffs and solos are as fun to sing along to as the lyrics, and the way Flowers manoeuvres his voice is second to none. Whether it's on guitar hero or Spotify, it's so easy to get into.

1. Mr. Brightside

It has always been ‘Mr. Brightside’, and it will always be ‘Mr. Brightside’. Charting in the UK every year since its release in 2004, remarkably, it’s the first song they ever wrote. It was written by just Flowers and Keuning. Ronnie Vannucci Junior’s drumming in the song is undoubtedly awesome, while the opening guitar riff is one of the most recognisable of all time. Known mainly for how catchy it is, the lyrics are not to be thrown away. Flowers talks about what was going on in his head while his girlfriend was cheating on him at a nightclub, and the idea of jealousy turning him basically evil. Great song.
